I was reading about cross-dressing or transgenderism in Deuteronomy 22:5. God certainly was ahead of his time. But then three verses later a builder of a new house is required to place a parapet around his roof for safety: When you build a new house, make a parapet around your roof so that you may not bring the guilt of bloodshed on your house if someone falls from the roof.I think from my recent video you can tell I'm a clown that has a macabre imagination sometimes. I found this passage funny because I could just see this scenario: {Up on the roof with no parapet} Jacob: Say Amos, I love your new house and what a view from up here! Amos: Yes, I am truly blessed to have such a house. And it's nice sleeping up here. Jacob: {while both are looking the same direction} I'm going to step back, another step and yet another to get a better view and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Amos: {turns around} Jacob? Jacob? Oh Jacob! Oh my brother Jacob! Or an alternate version: Amos: ...... and it's nice sleeping up here. Jacob: You're right! Let's retire for the night right here! {Later that night, Jacob is known for his rolling over in his sleep} "ZZZZZZZZ. ZZZZZZZZ. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Amos: Jacob? Jacob? Oh Jacob! Oh my brother Jacob! Beware! The Lord said to put a parapet around your roof! This is not just another senseless safety code. He even placed it along with the seriousness of the transgenderism.
